Location. Fortyseven A Summit Hotel, is opposite the Temple of Vesta and 500 meters from the Roman Forum and the Circus Maximus. The hotel is within a kilometer of many of Rome’s most famous sites, including the Forum, Circus Maximus, Piazza di Spagna and the Coliseum. Rome Fiumicino Airport is 25 kilometers away from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Opened in 2004, Fortyseven’s 24 hour front desk provides complimentary newspapers in the lobby and provides services that include currency exchange and tour assistance.

Complimentary American style buffet breakfasts are served each morning in one of the three breakfast salons. The Giano Bar is just off the lobby and features a stainless steel bar and marble floors. Guestrooms. Each of the Fortyseven’s five floors is dedicated to a different Italian master of the 20th Century. The 61 Art Deco styled guestrooms offer soft caramel tones in the fabrics and on the walls. Amenities include minibars and in room safes. The ensuite marble bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations. Expert Tip. The Circus Maximus is an ancient hippodrome and mass entertainment venue located in the valley between the Aventine and Palatine hills. The Circus occasionally entertains the Romans; being a large, green area in the center of the city, it is often used for concerts and meetings.
