Crowded, but super beautiful!
"Venice was just as beautiful as all the pictures I’d seen! It’s amazing to have a city with so much water in it! The buildings are lovely, but the people seemed really tired of the tourists, because they weren’t very friendly, for the most part. I went over Easter, which was a mistake because there were so many people in town!! After awhile, it was just easier to stay home and drink the wonderful cheap wine and eat the food (although Venice isn’t known for having good food, so we cooked for ourselves!). But the city was really neat, even with all the tourists! If I ever get to be super rich, maybe I can rent it for a few days, with no tourists, & have the Italians all to myself! Haha!
