Location. Located four kilometers west of central Montego Bay,Jamaica, Sunset Beach Resort and Spa All Inclusive stands at the tip of a Jamaican white sand peninsula. The resort is positioned four kilometers from the Bay West shopping mall.
Hotel Features. This 22 acre Montego Bay resort features a selection of restaurants that include the open air Banana Walk and the Asian themed Silk Road. Swim up bars, beach bars, discos and seaside grills complete this resort’s list of culinary offerings. The resort offers a business center with four computer stations, flexible conference space and dial up Internet access. An on site health and beauty spa features hydrotherapy, massages, beauty services, saunas and steam rooms. A large fitness center features a pool view, exercise equipment and a yoga and Pilates classroom. The themed water park features water slides, 40 foot high bridge, and a pirate ship. The Club Mongoose program offers activities for children ages two through 12. Pirate’s Cove offers arcade games and reggae music. After dark entertainment includes Caribbean music, theme shows and nightly dancing on the beach.

Guestrooms. This resort offers 430 guestrooms and suites in three buildings. Accommodations feature tile floors, tropical fabrics, and patios or balconies. Rooms overlook the city, bay, garden or mountains. Rooms in the two story building feature rattan furniture. Televisions offer U.S. cable channels.

Expert Tip. For a fee, shuttles operate three times daily to Montego Bay’s Hip Strip.

Perfect Place to Visit, Even for the Day

"I have to admit that after having worked and vacationed in the Caribbean for years, some of my least favorite places to visit were in Jamaica, and Montego Bay was certainly on that list. That changed, however, the first time I visited Sunset Beach Resort & Spa. This is not only a great place to plan an entire vacation, but also a perfect day trip. As a frequent cruise vacationer, and past crew member, I've been on many ships that stop in Montego Bay for the day. My honest recommendation before going to Sunset Beach was just to stay on the ship. However, for quite some time now, whenever I'm on a ship that stops in Montego Bay, I get off first thing and stay at Sunset Beach until it's time to reboard the ship. It is a private resort that is not crowded, nor dirty. You won't be hassled to buy things while you're trying to relax, and EVERYTHING is included. If you're not staying at the resort, but you're coming from a ship, they'll let you pay a day rate, and then they treat you just like a guest at the resort. You can eat all the food and drink all the drinks (even alcohol) that you want. They have a great swim-up bar between two pools and fabulous beaches with snorkeling gear and such all included as well. You won't find a shore excursion available on the ship that is a better deal."
