Historic elegance, views, and a good location
Glamorously ornate, the expansive lobby of this San Francisco icon is alone worth the visit – enjoy it while sipping a glass of wine and listening to the piano player in the open bar. Rooms in the newer tower get huge views of the city. Take your time sipping a cocktail in the Tonga Room in the basement, and you can watch the rainstorm over the tiki island.
