San Francisco
Fun? Uh, yeah, fun....
The city was great! Well, most of it, anyway. There was much to see, but there is only much to do when you know somebody who lives there. They city is enormous, with lots of bridges, some that look nicer than the Golden Gate itself. The Golden Gate is fun. There are two parking areas so that you can see it from the top, and the bottom where you get off and walk the bridge. It takes 50 minutes to walk from one side to the other. You can cross under, and it's fun, though not for the claustrophobic or scared. Sometimes it sounds like it will fall on you. You can take boats to Alcatraz, and you can also ride trolleys up that street where shows are taken place. Like Full House or That's So Raven. You'll look like an uber tourist when you ride it too much or frequently, but whatever. Good city, easy to get lost. Bring a GPS with you. Nice downtown and skyline area. We had the Embassy Suites Airport Hotel. Also very nice. I look like a dork in the picture, I don't know why I did that...Reviewed on: July 23, 2008
