Canyonlands National Park
mini Grand Canyon
The scenery is pretty amazing and probably would have been more so had I not just visited the Grand Canyon a few days earlier. In fact, the famous scene from Thelma and Louise when they drive their car off the cliff was filmed in this area. The park actually has three distinct sections, but we only visited the Canyonlands part. Lots of great scenic overlooks and plenty of trails to stretch your legs.
