Fort Matanzas National Monument
boat ride
This isn’t the sort of place you’d plan a trip around since there’s not much there, but if you’re in the area it’s worth stopping by, especially if you’re interested in historical sites. There’s a visitor center, some trails, and the fort itself. The best thing about it is the boat ride you take from the visitor center to the fort. The boat trip is free, but you should check the Web site for times.
