St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum
lots of stairs
The location is a little odd, but keep following the directions even if they don’t seem to make sense. The museum had more information than I would have expected and there’s a nice gift shop to pick up your souvenirs. Of course, the highlight is the lighthouse itself. Test your physical fitness and climb to the top. It’s well worth the view and will make you appreciate how difficult it was for the lighthouse keepers to keep it lit. There are informative displays on the walls inside the lighthouse so you can use reading them as an excuse to take frequent breaks during your climb!
