Kenai Fjords Tours
Highlight of my Alaskan trip
A Kenai Fjord boat tour is well worth the time and money. I took the 8 1/2 hour tour with a stop on Fox Island in July 2006. In addition to calving glaciers, we saw playful humpback whales, sea otters, black bears, Stellar sea lions and way too many birds to count. The ride was comfortable with lunch served onboard and dinner on Fox Island. The tour guide was very informative about the wildlife and geography of Resurrection Bay. Even in the summer, it’s chilly on the water so don’t forget your hat and gloves.
