Basic lodging at reasonable price
The Days Inn is located just outside of Capitol Reef National Park. The location is perfect for the Park, but be warned that Torrey is a tiny town that really is out in the middle of nowhere. If you’re arriving in the evening like we did, definitely stop for food along the way or bring something with you unless you want to eat dinner out of a vending machine. We were there in February which is not part of the busy tourist season so maybe there are more dining options available in the evening in the summer. Of course, we satisfied our hunger with the free breakfast the next morning!
