"Here’s how great this store is: My boyfriend doesn’t mind going here, and he hates shopping. It’s hard to describe this place, they sell such a bizarre selection of stuff. They sell dishes from hotels/restaurants/country clubs/etc., and extremely cute little shot glasses that are hand-painted (I don’t do shots, but I have one of the glasses, ‘cause it was adorable!). I bought a pair of salt and pepper shakers here that shake themselves, which I thought was funny. There’s a nice selection of pens, some interesting and fairly pricey clothes (very cute PJs for girls!), a weird selection of toys (they appeal to kids as well as my boyfriend), and the list goes on and on. I have to come here every time I’m in Lawrence just to see what’s new. This is a great place to buy gifts for people who are hard to buy gifts for. The folks who run the place are really nice, too."
