Salina a nice little town
"Salina, KS is a nice little town and a good weekend getaway. Located at the crossroads of I-70 and I-135 it has some of the bigger city feel with the small town comfort. Endiron Bed and Breakfast is a nice place to stay. The Smoky Hill Museum is a great place to learn about the history of Saline County. The Shops Around the Corner offer wonderful boutique shopping. The second weekend in June Salina has the Smoky Hill River Festival. It is a 3 day festival of music, art and food with admission by button for the whole weekend. In August the Tri-Rivers Fair and Rodeo takes place at the Bicentennial Center. There is a carnival, rodeo and demolition derby. From early April through June the Kansas Cagerz USBL basketball team call Salina home. They are a great basketball team that is very entertaining to watch.
