The Ultimate Hotel

This hotel is by far the best that I have ever stayed at. I went here for a conference, so my company picked up the cost ($250 a night was the discounted rate). The room rate is expensive, so be sure you are able to enjoy the hotel itself. There was plenty of space for meetings, exhibit space and large lectures. The Californian decor is beautiful. The room was perfect. More than enough space, clean, large bathroom, comfortable beds. There was ample space on the balcony and it had two chairs and a small tabe on it. It provides the perfect spot to have a snack and enjoy the view. There is a terminal in the lobby where you can print out your airline boarding pass for a fast check-in at the airport. There are sofas in the lobby that make it a good meeting place or spot for people watching. There is a club/bar and restaurant in the hotel itself, but they are upscale and expensive. A simple breakfast can cost $25. Fortunately, the Westfield shopping center has a variety of stores and restaurants that are more reasonably priced. The thing that I found most entertaining about the hotel is the elevator voice. The voice suddenly gets more seductive when it says "Lobby" and gets sad when it says "going down". There are 8 elevators in all (4 at each end of the hotel) so the wait for elevators are short.
