Great Museums, Best Price

The admission to all of the Smithsonian Museums is free. You can’t beat that especially with the quality of the museums. Just be sure to arrive early to avoid long lines. The time spent at each museum can range from 2 hours to a whole day. I usually watch the movies and look at all of the exhibits, but only read the info card on the exhibits that I am really interested in. That takes about three hours, or at least it did for the American History Museum. My mom on the other hand reads the info cards on every exhibit and watches the movies. That will fill your entire day. So you can potentially spend an entire week on the Smithsonian museums alone. I have only been to the American History Museum and the Air and Space Museum and loved them both.
