"The fajitas at Pancho’s are REALLY good! You get a lot of food, too. It’s definitely the best Mexican food I’ve had in Korea, but it is a bit pricey. I think my chicken fajitas were around 16,000 won. But it’s enough to share with somebody, so then it’s not too bad. They have pitchers of beer and margaritas, too, and there was lively Spanish music playing. The atmosphere was festive, with Mexican decorations, and a palm tree decorated with Christmas lights! There was also a dart board and a pool table, and sometimes they have salsa dancing and bellydancing lessons. Our server was from Guatemala, and I suspect the cooks are also actually from Central or South America, not Koreans trying to cook Mexican food! I went on a Friday night around dinner time, and it was not crowded at all, although it’s on the main street of Itaewon. I think most of the English teachers and military people who frequent Itaewon think it’s too expensive, or else they just don’t know about it!"
