lacio mio cuore a milano

i lived in milan for 6 months on exchange at Bocconi in the spring of 2006. as far as italy is concerned, it is the most forward-looking and modern city, and it is a completely unique italian city than the others. one goes to florence and rome and venice for art and culture, but milan's strong points are entertainment, shopping, fashion, and business - a more urban experience. experiencing milan along with another city makes for a complete picture of italian culture - and the people who live in it.

while you're there you must:
-visit the brera district and have a cocktail at night.
-take pictures of the duomo
-shop on via vittorio emanuele
-have dinner in the navigli district
-shop in an outdoor flea market
-see the castello forzesca
-spend an hour or two relaxing in parco sempione
-have at least one dish of gelato per day
