las vegas a quick girls' trip to sin city. it'll be my first time, so i'm obviously quite excited about it. no plans yet…we'll see what happens when we get there. mainly shopping, partying and laying out at the pool, i imagine. sounds perfect.

key west
key west is by far one of my favorite cities that i've ever been to. it is all about just having fun. if you must do a couple touristy things, hit the hemingway house (totally worth it – it's gorgeous) and the southernmost point thing, but then just concentrate on walking around and soaking up the key west atmosphere. there are bars and fun hole-in-the-wall restaurants everywhere, so bar-hopping is the way to go. there are a lot of people – especially on the days that...

breckenridge ski weekend
i go to breckenridge a lot, so these are the places i usually hit when i'm there. i've been to several ski resorts, especially in colorado, and breck is definitely one of my favorite places to be. if you want more variety and more difficult terrain, it's not a far drive to get to the other mountains, but in terms of the whole experience, breck leads summit county with its charm factor – shopping, nightlife, restaurants, victorian architecture and colorful town life.

chicago for st. patrick's day
this was a quick trip for a very fun holiday. the pubs were full of people in green (skipping work, of course – this is a major holiday in chi-town) from about 9:30 in the morning on. bar-hopping for st. pat's day in the lincoln park/wrigleyville/lakeview area was a blast. made time for shopping, too, as usual. mostly downtown (magnificent mile, marshall field's, urban outfitters, h&m) and lincoln park, which is full of cute boutiques.
