beautiful beach

Located near Kamala beach and accessible by a 30 min walk, expensive taxi or cheap local 1/2 hour buses that finish around 6pm. The beach is accessed via a very steep path so not good for people with mobility problems. The walk to the beach is stunning, with views of turquoise water framed by tropical plants and trees. The beach is fairly small, in a cove, white sand and flanked by smooth granite boulders. There are the usual deck chairs and restaurants, fresh water showers and public toilet in local style!! The water is deeper than at Kamala so its better for swimming and some snorkelling. We were there at Christmas and it was very busy as was every where else. Worth the effort
