"I went to Monroe one weekend to visit my best friend. My boyfriend and I were not familiar with the area at all, but we knew we had to find a sports bar to watch the Saints game. We asked one of the locals where we could go and she reffered us to R.J. Gators. Both the staff and the customers(major Saints fans and one Atlanta fan) were extremely nice and they made us feel at home right away. We met some awesome people and had a couple of free drinks. Even though we didn't try the food, I wouldn't doubt that it is really good. The bartender is super cool and down to earth. This place is the best place to watch a Saints game and it was the perfect stop before our 4 hour trip home. We are planning to go back for a playoff game. The 4 hour trip is definitely worth it. "
