Location. The Hotel Le Cirque, New Orleans, La., is located next door to the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in the Arts District. Located on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, the hotel is six blocks from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and nine blocks from the famed French Quarter and Riverwalk shopping.

"I stayed here in 2003 during Mardi Gras. I came down to visit friends and had already paid for the room when I broke my ankle. I still came down though and inquired at the front desk if they had rooms that would accomodate my ankle. I was put in a handicap room - but it only had a wheelchair accessible shower. Since I couldn't stand, this was too hard for me. The only "normal" room they had left after that was on the second floor and it was a dump. Dirty towels on the floor, in the tub and used washcloths in the sink. There were cigarettes littering the floor and moldy coffee in the coffeepot. The sheets were also stained. When I called down to ask for maid service, I was told that it wouldn't be possible until the next day. It ended up taking 2 days for the mess to be cleaned. I would have done it myself but that's part of what you pay for in a hotel - never mind the fact that I couldn't clean on crutches. They were extremely rude and treated me like I was a chronic complainer. I have never had such a horrible experience in my life. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone going to New Orleans after this expeience. "
