"My boyfriend and I stayed here on a small trip through NOLA last year before the devastation. When we called to make reservations, we talked to a very polite, helpful young man. Each time we called, we spoke with him. We had to change the dates of our stay by a couple days. He was very nice about it. Unfortunately when we arrived, our loft we had booked was given to someone else due to the date change. Given the circumstances, we understood. Still, our loft was very hip and contemporary embellished with the utmost modern electronics and simple allure. The bathroom might have been the best part with excellent features and perfect lighting. There was an open glass and limestone shower with two shower heads and a unique spoon bathtub. The bed was fitted with ridiculously soft linens. And the hotel itself and our loft had a very open welcoming feel to it. However, the “views” we were promised was a desolate building of ruins. It looked like an explosion had occurred at some point. I couldn’t believe this was the “view” I was promised. Overall, the hotel/lofts were beautiful and the location was superb. I was satisfied with our stay and would gladly go back for another stay. *I believe they have since renovated since Katrina and are open for business."
