Just bought the tickets for the kids using the $500 travel voucher. Now I can start saving money for all the expenditures of that trip. I think we have 1 trip a month planned so foar for the first 7 months of this year. Las vegas would be the farthest aside from Mexico, that will be a 2 day road trip because where we are going the airport is far. We going deep! It should be interesting. Hill Country Question

Our 25th Reunion is coming up this July. We are planning a 3 day event and I am in charge of Friday. My question to anyone who has been is…Natural Bridge Cavern(outside San Antonio, TX) or Wonder World(San Marcos, TX)? I have not been to either one. The ages range from 2 and go up from there. I want to make sure that this is a fun day trip for all ages. Any thoughts?

Scenic Photos

I was just thinking about photography and this website. You know all those pictures of objects and buildings the scenery that you have photographed.  Me personally, when flipping through vacation pictures I tend to skip past hose ones and go straight for the people pictures. I think with Gusto all these pictures of the places you have been will come in handy. Looking throught the photo album I notice lots of photo's of places I have neer been to that are plesaing to the eye. They...

Snow & Ice

We have had a messy week this week with Ice and snow. I am so tired of this weather. I need a nice warm beach. I have not been in a few years and miss it so much. I desire to go back to San Carlos Bay, Mexico. Man it was beautiful there. Oh well, maybe this summer we can make a trip out there. I am hoping to book a cruise for the family and I for late this summer.

Thinking about the warm sunny beaches in Mexico. :)

Studio Movie Grill

A blog about Arlington, TX

They had the Grand Opening yesterday and I decided to take the kids. We went to see the 3:55 showing of Night at the Museum, but they were sold out. We opted for watching Freedom Writers. I was really impressed with the movie. I loved it, I think I cried 75% of the time, not boohoo but just teary. The kids ordered pizza ($7.99) which was a perfect about for then to share. It tasted pretty good. I just had tea and popcorn($1.50). The popcorn is HUGE! We...

New Braunfels, TX

If you have never been to this small town located between Austin and San Antonio off the I-35 freeway then I highly recommend it. It has many things for couple or the entire family. They have to offer many things. Shliterbaun, which is the best place in US  for Water parks. This place is so big you would actually need to visit 2-3 days in order to take advantage of the entire park. Not only do they have that but they also have the Comal River for the less daring and for the extremist...

Photography

I was just now viewing the photo album. Everyone has done such a great job capturing all the right moments. I was thinking, technology has come a long was over the last 20 years. I remember when it was just the 35mm cameras that you would have to take to the camera shop, drop the film off and a few days later it would be ready.

The came 1 hour developing. As soon as you finish the roll you rush to the mall (that is where I remember it being at) to have them developed, Peer throught...

All the Loony Toons were out there letting you get photographed with them. We all had a great time.

Marathon

I have thought of doing a marathon for years.I watched the Hawii Tri athalon over the weekend. It really touched me to see all these people from every sort of back ground compete in such a difficult task. I have never even done a 5k. So I am settign my goal high and know that I can reach it. Anyone ever done this before? I would love some pointers. It is just hard for me to saty motivated. No one I know wants to do this with me. So there is lack of encouragement. I do start training...

Wing stop

Well, last night was the big game against Dallas and New Orleans. I gotta say that Dallas started the game off great, and went down hill after that. Before the game started My husband headed out to Wingstop (Troy Aikman's favorite) to get dinner. We had beer at home so that was how we spent the first quarter. I love there wings they are super yummy. Not too hot, just right. By the end of the game we were full and the Cowboys lost. Better luck next week boys!

Well I have decided when to head to Vegas. I looked into when spring break was so I am avoiding mid March to mid April. That would be too crazy for the kids to see. Starting to look into the costs of all the activities. Can't wait. Its is so far away yet so close. Do you think it would be too cold to swin in April out there? Las Vegas

So I won a round trip airfare and 3night stay to Vegas with spending money. I am super excited to be going again. Have been there numerous times, but it has changed from year to year that I have gone. We decided we are going to take the kids with us this round we have always left them home. So I Will actually be seeing the other things that Vegas has to offer other than casino's and clubs. I am almost tempted to say I am going to actually ride one of the coasters. Still debating about...
