Sea Lion Caves

Hundreds of Sea Lions in Natural Habitat

This is a fun stop if you’re driving the Oregon coast. Admission fee required. You take an elevator down the cliff and you enter a cold, smelly cavern. There’s an observation deck where you can view hundreds of sea lions in their natural habitat. It’s really cool to watch them. Little babies and mothers. Lots of sea lions taking naps, others swimming around, some climbing up on the rocks, others barking at each other. You can also take a hike down a path and watch the sea lions on the beach below. Lots of great photo opps here! Good bird watching, too. Gift shop is abit touristy, but you can find some fun momentos.
