Surprisingly great!

I’ve seen the famous Van Gogh paintings before, and I just wasn’t super excited about this museum. But my friend really wanted to go, so off we went! I ended up really liking it. There is so much of Van Gogh’s works that we never see, and he did a lot in different styles. I loved a few of his lesser-known paintings. There is SO MUCH of his work here, it takes awhile to look at it all. The gift shop is great- almost all the paintings are available as postcards and posters, so you can take home the ones you like! This is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Amsterdam, so it is usually very crowded. & I agree with dgdarien- the park next to the museum is nice, too!
