Margaret Island
Pretty
This is a small island in the middle of the Danube River. This is a really nice place to come and get away from the city. It’s a big park, basically, although there are a few hotels on it. There are Japanese Tea Gardens, ponds, a musical fountain (it plays classical music!), and nice wide open spaces to relax in. There weren’t many people when I went, but it was March in the middle of the week! It’s still great at that time of year, if it’s nice weather. It was great to see some nature after all the hustle and bustle of Budapest!
