University Town Center
Not unique, but a good mall!
This is the only mall in La Jolla, otherwise you have to go to San Diego for a mall, so it’s popular with students for shopping or just hanging out. It can be a challenge to find parking on the weekends. It’s not really big, but there are enough stores to keep you occupied for awhile. Almost all of them are chain stores, so you won’t find anything unique, but it’s good for a mall! It’s always clean and well-kept up. There’s also an ice skating rink, and a food court with some fast food options (Rubio is my favorite!). Even if you don’t want to ice skate, it’s fun to watch the little kids while you’re eating lunch, since the food court overlooks the rink. There’s also outdoor seating in the middle of the mall, which is nice for relaxing after some hard shopping!
