Lodi Arch
A nice arch
The arch was first built in 1907 as a temporary structure, but the final permanent arch was finished in 1956. It’s a big white arch, which reminds of the California missions. There is a golden bear and a liberty bell on top, and “Lodi” is lit up with small lights at night. It’s decorated with colored lights every Christmas, too. The arch is very close to the train station in Lodi, on the edge of the revitalized downtown, so if you’re walking downtown, take a detour to admire the arch!
