Gågatan

Shopping!

Gågatan means "Walking Street" in Swedish. It's the main pedestrian shopping street in Malmö. The street starts at Stortorget, and continues a ways, through Gustav Adolfs Torg, until Triangeln, the shopping mall. There are lots of little small shops, plus chains like Ålens, H&M, and Indiska. There are a lot of clothing stores, plus stores with other things like shoes, music, household goods, books, cameras, and lots more. There are also many small cafes, restaurants, and a movie theater. This street is quite lively during the day, especially on the weekends. Almost all shops close at 6pm, but the restaurants and movie theater are still open.
