Vigeland Park and Museum (Vigelandsparken)

Fabulous sculptures.

Vieglandsparken is part of Frognerparken. It’s filled with over 200 statues made by Gustav Vigeland during the 1900s. Oslo supported him with money for a long time, and when he died they received all of his sculptures. They are beautiful. They depict men, women, and children throughout their lives, from babies with their parents, to elderly people. There’s a hill to walk up, with a huge monolith of bodies at the top. The gates at the entrance to the park and the ones surrounding the monolith are beautiful examples of wrought-iron. The park is gorgeous any time of year!
