The Catacombs (Les Catacombs)
Weird, but awesome!
This was the weirdest, coolest thing I did in Paris! It was pretty cold and dark down in the tunnels, and, you know, the bones didn’t make it less creepy! All the skulls lined up, and the designs made were fascinating to see. It’s hard to describe what it was like, besides that it was definitely a teensy bit claustrophobic! But it was very cool, and different than what you’ll see anyplace else (unless you go to catacombs in other cities, of course!). Not what you usually associate with Paris!
