Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion
Beautiful!
I stayed at the Cheong Fatt Tze mansion for one night, but I wish I could have stayed a lot longer! The mansion is absolutely beautiful, and it’s very peaceful. There are five courtyards where you can sit and relax, a tv room, and 16 rooms that are all individually decorated. There is free wifi internet on the ground floor. Breakfast was cooked to order in the morning. There is also a fasicinating tour of the mansion open to the public two times a day. While more expensive than some chain hotels in Penang, staying a night at this small hotel was VERY reasonably priced for such a unique experience.
