Old-New Synagogue (Staronova synagoga)

Nice

This is the oldest synagogue left in Prague. It’s Gothic in style, but it’s really not very impressive! I thought the prettiest part was the vaulted ceilings. They’re quite nice. There are some nice details, and it’s interesting, just not as beautiful as the Spanish Synagogue (my favorite!). It’s still definitely worth a visit, though.

This isn’t included in the normal ticket for the Jewish Museum, but there is another ticket you can buy which includes all the synagogues and cemetery of the Jewish Museum AND this one, so if you’re interested in going, be sure you buy the right ticket!
