The Embarcadero
Not for (most!) tourists!
There are some cool shops here, but most of them are a bit expensive, with things like gourmet food. There are some good restaurants and a movie theater. & of course, beautiful views of the water! It’s not exactly a tourist destination, though. It’s not for kids, unless there’s a specific performance or event going on that they’d like. There was a cute market outside with beautiful photographs of the city and handmade jewellry that was a bit unusual and neat. Otherwise, this is basically just a really fancy shopping mall! I would think it’s more for locals who like gourmet food than most tourists.
