Santa Cruz
Really pretty hippie town!
It’s kind of a pain in the butt to get to Santa Cruz, on the small, windy roads, but it’s a beautiful drive! Santa Cruz itself is also gorgeous- a beach town surrounded by nice green mountains. It’s known for being a hippie enclave, and a lot of that can still be seen today, although there are more chains there now, too. The University is great, and it has a really nice campus. There are a lot of young people here, so the town is really lively and fun. There are a few different cool things to do, like go to The Mystery Spot, go shopping in downtown, or go to the boardwalk to play games and lie on the beach.
