I love this place!

This is a big bookstore, although of course most of the books are in Korean! There is a sizable foreign language section, with a lot of English books, plus a lot of Japanese choice, and then some in other languages like French and German, although not as many. There is a also a big office supply store, a CD store, booths selling jewelry, and a stationery store with lots of cute planners, notebooks, and other things you never knew you needed until you saw them there! This is the biggest book store in Seoul, and the one with the most English books, although some of them can be a bit expensive, since they’re imports. But there is a bargain section, and most of the books aren’t too much more expensive than the American or Canadian retail price. They don’t mind if you sit and read some of the books for awhile, either. The only problems are that the place is usually packed on weekends and evenings, and that it’s underground, so you might not notice how much time you’re spending there, since you can’t see the sun! A fun place just to browse if you love books!
