Over Twenty years ago.....

I just got a case of the "back to the good old days". In that mood I remember the breakfasts I used to enjoy at the Ocean Park Omelette Palor in 1979-81. On their Menus in those days they would say something to this effect: "we want our products to be fresh, and are therefore proud to announce that we do not own a freezer". My all-time favorite Omelette was the "Arnold Schwartzenegger's Favorite". The good thing about that was that good old Arnold might be sitting at the next table to you. And he often did! Another favourite was "Shell shed said"... a wonderful medley of 3 eggs, bacon and other goodies this wonderful restaurant used to produce. The potatoes were delicious and their Fresh Strawberries and Cream was "Out of this World!" It's been a long time, but I hope they have continued with their tradition of simply good food at relative prices..-not Overpriced.
