Great Maine seaside town with NP nearby.
"A thoroughly enjoyable seaside town. There are plenty of shops and restaurants with a wide variety of locally caught fare. Acadia National Park is a short drive away and well worth it! If you enjoy some strenuous rock-climbing, go early in the summer (before the local Peregrine falcons start nesting) and climb Mt. Champlain. This is a "non-technical" climbing route which uses iron rungs driven into the rock face to assist your climb.
