Green Heron Inn offers water-side accommodations across the street from the head of the Kennebunk River in Kennebunkport, Maine. The inn is adjacent to an estuarine cove on Ocean Avenue, one block from Colony Beach. Kennebunkport’s historic Dock Square offers a variety of distinctive shops, restaurants and galleries, one mile from the inn.
Built in the early 1900s as a boarding house, the inn offers an informal New England atmosphere. Full complimentary breakfasts are served each morning, featuring entrees such as malted waffles with fresh berries and white chocolate, and crab Benedict with scallion and dill hollandaise sauce.
