The Newbury Guest House was originally built in 1882 as a private residence in Boston’s ever-fashionable Back Bay. An elegant brick and brownstone facade welcomes guests to the Inn’s 32 private rooms, renovated by combining modern comforts with 19th Century style. Each morning, guests will receive complimentary breakfast in the parlor or patio overlooking Newbury Street. For shopping or browsing, Newbury Street boasts one of the country’s most impressive collections of shops, restaurants, and art galleries. The Charles River is a short walk away, providing paths for running, walking, and biking along with panoramic vistas of Boston and Cambridge. Also nearby are many of the region’s most famous landmarks, including Symphony Hall, the Museum of Fine Arts, Fenway Park, and the Swan Boats of the Public Garden. This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals.
