Summary of Jacques
Jacques, located in the Theater District, draws people from all walks of life. It used to mainly be a gay hangout, but that has changed somewhat. It has two floors where the entertainment line splits. Upstairs drag queens and female impersonators perform while downstairs it is a rock n roll haven. “House artist” Rick Berlin (of Luna fame) keeps things interesting as well. Cash only; credit cards not accepted. Cover charge varies; call ahead for performance schedules.
