This unique storefront restaurant, which serves only the freshest Mexican food, is worth visiting. You will find inexpensive burritos with grilled vegetables, enchiladas and tacos, plus taquitos (tortillas, beef and guacamole) and chili rellenos (chile, cheese and tomato sauce). The festively decorated interior is small and hot, so consider the picnic tables outside. Look for the real-life employee whose face adorns the restaurants logo! The restaurant does not have a liquor license.

"El Pelon should be every college kid’s staple food. They serve some of the best fish tacos in Boston, in addition to great burritos, enchiladas, taquitos, etc.. Though indoor seating is limited (and downright steamy in the summer), they have a few outdoor picnic tables to accommodate hungry diners. The prices are cheap and the food is better than some of the other fast food Mexican places available."
