"Good service. I had the seafood casserole. It was very good. Most items were over $20. Maybe the locals know of better places, but as a tourist, this was one of my favorite places I visited all week. It was the best chowda I had on my trip."

"I visited the Natick/Framingham location and wasn’t impressed. The steak was dry, the fried clams were sandy and the service was only passable. I will say that the rolls and the stuffed shrimp were both very good."

"The seafood is good but there are so many other Seafood places in Massachusetts where you can get excellent seafood and not as pricy as Legals. If you are in the Worcester area try Coral Seafood or Sole Proprietor, both have excellent fresh seafood everyday. Don’t get me wrong, I do like Legals but its more of a tourist trap. Ask the locals where they go for seafood, where ever you are in Mass and they will point you in the right direction. :O)"

"this is good, simple seafood in a comfortable setting (i prefer the prudential location). the calamari (rhode island style. mmm, spicy), chower, crab cakes (oh the crab cakes), lobster rolls and fresh fish are all yummy. even their plain jane white rolls come piping hot and are gooooood. salad…gooood. cocktails….good. wine list….awesome. i have a good friend who worked there for years, and she still sings praises of how clean the facilities are, fresh the fish is, and how knowledgeable the wait staff is. this place is proud of what they do and it shows. consistently a favorite."

"Legal Seafood’s has got to be one of the most satisfying places to eat in the world. This is coming from someone who has eaten at many heralded restaurants. The fish is always ultra-fresh and well prepared. The chowder is awesome. Another thing that warrants attention is the first class wine list that is bargain priced. Many of the selections are priced at close to retail. You can tell that it is a labor of love. Many wines are available in half bottles and they also have wine flights."
