This North End pizzeria first opened in 1926. Today, youll find many branches of this popular local chain around Boston, but this flagship eatery is where to go for the authentic experience. The restaurant is small and resembles a bar more than a pizzeria, but the pizza is outstanding, featuring a thin crust and the Pizzeria Reginas own sauce. Traditional toppings are offered, as well as gourmet selections like roasted eggplant, jalapeno peppers and marinated artichoke hearts. Serves beer and wine. Does not accept credit cards, cash only.

"If you’re looking for an old-school, greasy slice of pepperoni, Pizzeria Regina is the place for you. Something of an establishment in the North End, this restaurant keeps serving up slices for its loyal customers. Be warned – booths/tables are hard to come by during peak lunch and dinner hours. "
