Like a postcard

Interlaken is a gorgeous town surrounded by the picturesque snow capped alps. The main attraction for us in Interlaken was the famous Blamers hostel which has consistently been ranked as one of the top five hostels in Europe. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and accomodations are reasonably priced. My favorite thing about balmers was the adventure packages. These are not cheap so be prepared to shell out quite a few euros but it is well worth it. I chose paragliding but skydiving, white water rafting, skiing and ice climbing are just a few of the choices offered, payment is made at the hostel and they provided transportation to our destination. When not tempting fate we explored the town, it offers quite a few restaurants which tended to be a little on the pricey side and many antique shops which where very pricey but great for browsing.
