Summary of Parish House Inn B&b
This Queen Anne style house began its life as a parsonage in 1893 and was moved to the current location in 1987. When you step inside you are greeted by gleaming hardwood floors, graceful tulip light fixtures and ceiling fans. The eight guest rooms are off the narrow hallway, which allows for maximum privacy and comfort. In the kitchen you will find beverages, glassware, a “bottomless” cookie jar and popcorn always available. You can begin each day with a wonderful breakfast featuring fresh fruit, juices, choice of cereals, a main dish, freshly baked breads and locally roasted, freshly ground coffee and tea. This superb meal is served every morning in the breakfast room adjacent to the kitchen where discussion of the days plans and activities are shared. In the warmer months, step through the private patio area and relax in a comfortable chair to read or chat with friends. Follow the stepping stones to the clematis covered sitting area to watch the ducks floating by on the Huron River below, or follow the path to the river-walk garden filled with Hostas, roses and daylilies.
