Rockland Cafe
Great for breakfast
I came to this place for breakfast many times in the years that I lived in Maine . The breakfast is simple and delicious. I must recommend the following as a great way to start your day:
2 eggs over easy (however you like)
Rye toast Baked Beans
2 Fish Cakes
This will tide you over well into the lunch hour and is absolutely delicious. There was a small place in Massachusetts that had a similar feast called the fisherman's breakfast which is how I refer to it now. I can't wait to get back to the Rockland Cafe to have me one of these tasty morning entrees. All the standards are great, omelette's, pancakes, sausages, etc. They're also open for lunch and dinner so you can get a wide assortment of things besides breakfast. Their menu is very much like what you'd see in a New York /New Jersey diner – wide selection of decent food. Highly recommended for breakfast though.
