Space Needle
worth the price of admission
The space needle seemed like it had to be a tourist trap which in a way it is considering the bottom floor is filled with gifts, souvenirs and munchies. But the view you get from the top of the needle on a clear day is fantastic. Mt. Rainer looms in the distance and the fact that it’s some 60 miles from Seattle shows just how big a mountain it really is. I would recommend waiting until you have a really clear day to pay the admission to get up to the top so you can make the most of the views.
