Very Nice.

ajones' rating:

"Dark wood and white tablecloths. Unpretentious and warm. We started off with goat cheese wrapped in grape leaves and then toasted. Sounds simple enough but the toastiness of these were so amazing delicious. Like a savory marshmallow. Served with homemade crackers and marinated olives. Also a beef kabob served medium rare, also delish. They had a good selection of wine by the glass, which was good because I wanted to try a few this night. Started with a pinotage that was so-so. Later for the main, I switched to a cabernet that was perfect with the braised lamb that I ordered. This was one of my favorite lamb meals ever. One of the best prepared that I have yet had. Served in a rosemary cabernet broth with fingerling potatoes, brussel sprouts (this also sold me) and carrots it was excellent. Friend had equally excellent scallops and Nate had a spicy sausage. Very spicy and very good. Had the crème brulee and flourless chocolate cake with homemade vanilla bean ice cream for dessert."
