Great place to stay on the Plaza

"The Raphael is a lovely little boutique hotel, and it’s just across Ward Parkway from the Country Club Plaza. The guest rooms are comfy and quiet, and the staff here is always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant here is good, and if you don’t feel like going downstairs for breakfast, call room service and order a waffle – they’re great! I love this place because it’s the perfect home base when you’re in town to shop; it’s wonderful to just walk across the street to the Plaza and not have to worry about traffic or parking. Be sure to get a room with a Plaza view, especially if you’re in town during the Christmas season, when you’ll have a great view of the Plaza lights!"
