Peruvian Gourmet Food

In the last international events about gastronomy, Lima-Peru has received a lot of excellent opinions and also awards, like in the event of Madrid.

It is because the peruvian dishes combines differente sources of flavors and ingredients mixes. It has the influence of the andean and ancient coastal cultures, the influence of the "moro" food of Spain (evident in the desserts), the influence of the chinesse (cantonese) food.

During the last decades, the japanese food has being developed and now there are very good restaurants with the best of thes best sushis.

From Europe, the peruvian dishes takes the best flavors of the french and italian food.

Finally, Lima has now a lot of educative centers where young students prepare themselves to be chefs in the diverse restaurants. This was not known 2 decades ago, but now it is a reputable activity and also the razon for a very dynamic development of new dishes and more combinations for the pleasure of all limeños and the visitors.
